Had a strobe blow up the other day. Sounded like a .22 pistol went off in the house. It was a WL Ultrazap 1600, an older unit that had been giving me some troubles lately. The power output had been jumping around by a couple of stops no matter where I set the slider. It's off to the folks at Paul C Buff for repair.
I ordered some more Alien Bees to get me by in the meantime. I'll be inside for a while, being that it is down to 15 degrees at night right now. A few more lights will be fun to play with for the winter.
